Things as They Are.

I'm Courtney.
I fill up journals with this kind of stuff.

Be careful what you pray for.

So, it was a normal thursday morning.

I was reading Proverbs & eatin’ my oatmeal.

I wrote down this passage in my journal:

Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me,
lest I be full and deny you
and say, “Who is the Lord?”
or lest I be poor and steal
and profane the name of my God.

So of course, I prayed that God would just give me what I need every day- no more, no less. I’ve been learning to be content with whatever circumstances God has given me daily, whether it be singleness, a broken fridge or a boring day at work.

THEN:

I’m listening to music while I get ready for work. My computer is on a shelf in the bathroom. (I realize now this was a bad idea)

CRASHLOUDSOUND

My computer takes a plunge to its death onto the hard bathroom floor.

I’m telling you, be careful what you pray for… hahaha.

All this is to say blog posts won’t be coming as fast as they have been. No computer :(
